The throne for “the king of trap metal” has seemed empty ever since the passing of XXXTentacion but New York’s Cameronazi is closing in on the spot.

Trap metal is something many hip hop fans have had their eyes (ears) on for a couple of years now. If history is any indicator, the genre should really blow up sometime in 2019.

Cameronazi has a cold catalog of music throughout his soundcloud that any fan of the genre won’t need to skip through.

His raw, furious energy dumps out waves of metal but the vocals and delivery are enough to float the songs back into the mysterious world of trap.

The music is really the best of two different worlds brought together. Metal enough to head-bang to and street enough to trap to.

What more can someone ask for? Nothing except more music and more press.

Talented competition is everywhere in his line of work but there’s not many up and coming rappers in as good of a position as Cameronazi.

Besides having a deep list of bangers (“LAMES” and “SLITYAWRIST” both featuring $ubjects just to name a couple) Cameronazi is also developing a cult following that is common in trap metal.

In the case of Cameronazi, him blowing up the music scene is not a matter of “if” it’s just a question of “when”.

He seems to already have the right people looking at him in the industry and it won’t be long before we get more doses of his passionate music.
